Tube forming rolls
In this sector Eurolls manufactures rolls, in accordance with its
own designs or those supplied by the client, to produce welded pipe
made from different quality material, ferrous and non ferrous, such
as:
• Cold rolled low carbon steel
• Cold rolled high carbon steel
• Hot rolled steel
• Stainless steel AISI 308-316
• Incoloy
• Aluminium
• Copper and its alloys
• Titanium
Materials used to produce the rolls
The rolls are suitable for all the existing
welding methods such as High Frequency, TIG and Laser. The material
normally used to produce the rolls are:
• Tool steel 1.2379 (D2)
• Tool steel 1.2080 (D3)
• Tool steel 1.2344 (AISI H13)
In addition to the traditional materials, rolls can also be made from
tungsten carbide, titanium carbide, ceramics, bronze and cast iron.
The Eurolls rolls are always supplied with their working surface ground
and polished. A procedure that contributes to an increase in their
working life. The rolls are marked in accordance with the specific
requirements of the clients. Before the final grinding and polishing
the rolls in steel undergo a thermal process to obtain the required
hardness. |
